This year’s Milton Keynes White Ribbon White Ribbon UK & International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women Vigil will once again be at the Milton Keynes Rose Home – Milton Keynes Rose  on International White Ribbon Day Monday 25 November 2024 at 5.30 pm – 19.00. Long Lunch Club

Seeking an engaging and sociable Wednesday activity?

The Long Lunch Club at Age UK Milton Keynes is a welcoming social event designed to bring older people together for a leisurely and enjoyable meal. Held weekly, the club offers a great opportunity for older people to connect with others in their community, share stories, and enjoy  delicious, wholesome food in a friendly atmosphere.

The Long Lunch Club is more than just a meal; members can relax, chat, make new friends and enjoy games and entertainment, all while being part of a supportive environment and reducing social isolation. The club is open to all older adults, and the affordable cost ensures that everyone can take part.

The club is on Wednesdays from 10 am to 2 pm at The Peartree Centre, MK6 3EB.

JUBILEE DOUBLE CINEMA EVENT FRIDAY HELD THE 3RD JUNE 2022

On the Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend, the Parish hosted an outdoor screening of two recently released films. The day started at 2:30 and ended at 8:30 p.m. with a good turnout.

We wanted to say a big thank you to all the people who attended the event, we hope that despite the cool breeze, you were able to enjoy the day.

We also wanted to thank those who made this event possible, Monkston Primary School; Friends of Monkston School, Robin and his team of outstanding professionals from Vector Lighting and of course a big thank you to Cllr Glen Dersley who worked hard to make this event enjoyable for everyone.
