AGE CONCERN in Burners Lane, Kiln Farm, MK runs the area's bigest second hand furniture warehouse. It relies on donations from people all over the city. The income generated enables them to provide services to help the local older people.
In particular the Age Concern Warehouse are looking for furniture, general household goods, books, music and electrical items.
They are open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Saturday. You can take along items yourself or if you are unable to do that it may be possible for them to collect by arrangement.
1ST RE-USE CENTRE - a new facility opened in early October 2006 This is a second hand re-sale centre for raising funds for the MacMillan Cancer Trust. It is now OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK Come along to dispose of your unwanted furniture and household goods and leave at the drop off point. While you are there have a browse, there is always something interesting on the shelves.

These tidy tip sites are open 8am to 8pm every day in April to September and 8am to 5pm October to March, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Please try to keep any furniture and bric a brac, clean and tidy for resale. There is a separate area for metal goods and anything requiring special handling.

Furniture and other items you would normally take with you when you move house are collected FREE OF CHARGE within 1-10 days of the call being logged. Same day service costs £5. Fixtures and fittings such as kitchen or bathroom suits, fences etc. are subject to a charge of £35 per half hour collection.
