From 2007 Parish Allotments have come under the care and ownership of this Parish.

The Parish Council are seeking to set up Allotment Care Committees for the three sites to deal with the day to day issues of each allotment area. The Parish Council via its Clerk will provide financial and legal responsibility. We will also set up a landscape contractor to deal with annual maintenance and running repairs.

Allotment plot holders will need to set up a committee composed of a number of its members. A small number of meetings will be held each year to keep plot holder up to date. The Parish Council will use these meetings to discuss plot fees and other issues. We will use this web site, and this page and our Parish Newsletter iNFACT to keep residents appraised of all allotment matters.

south end of the estate.

Estimated number of plots is approx.40, 100 on waiting list.

75 sq. metre, 35 sq.metre and 18 sq. metre plots are the likely sizes. The smaller size is ideal for the new allotment gardener especially in the early days of the plots where there is lots of work in the soil preparation phase.

Allotment plots are currently being allocated to those on the waiting list.

Further work on the fencing will be carried out during the autumn
